Algarve is the southernmost province of Portugal and a highly sought after holiday destination.
200 Kilometers of pristine cool beaches, amazing food (mostly if you like seafood), very friendly people and the fact that is quite inexpensive as well as  very safe and modern with most people speaking English contributes for its popularity.

Just like Portugal in general, the Algarve has a rich history, a unique culture and large diversity.

The province, with just over 5000 sq. Km. (1931 sq.miles) contains more than 100 unique beaches, Mountains and an impressive rocky coast.
One can spend the holiday in a fast paced resort or city or opt for a more quaint setting as there many options to choose from.
It has over 30 golf courses throughout the province, many hiking trails and beautiful towns to either stay or to visit.
